Foo Fighters announced a surprise show at the 9:30 club. despite my best efforts when the tickets went on sale, i didn't manage to get any, but thank goodness laura did! they played an impressive 2 1/4 hour set, including a guest appearance by (9:30 club owner) seth hurwitz on drums for one song near the end.
9:30 club owner, Seth Hurwitz, joins the band for a cover of CCR's Born On The Bayou. he had guested a week earlier on the same stage with Bob Mould's band (performing the Monkee's Steppin' Stone on that occasion.)
